Waqar Zaka Condemns Meesha Shafi For Sexual Harassment Allegations

Famous tv personality Waqar Zaka has also come out to respond to the tweet made by singer Meesha Shafialleging fellow artist Ali Zafar of sexual harassment.
In his tweet on Friday, Zaka spoke about the double standards of women when it comes to her interaction with a male.
Zaka said that the girls consider it ‘healthy flirting’ until they like it but when they don’t, they term it as ‘sexual harassment’.
He went on to say that when a girl asks for a guy’s number, it is said to be ‘just for fun’ but when a boy does, it is called lust (tharkipan).
He criticized Shafi, saying if it is not a publicity stunt then she should have filed a complaint in the court, not on social media.

Jab tak larki ko acha lagta hai , "its healthy flirt", jab larki ka mood na ho tu "sexual harassment". Larki num mangay tu "its just for fun" , Larka num mangay tu "its Tharkipan". If it's not a publicity stunt tu phelay Court mei file karti Madam, Social media kyun?
The reality TV host received a mixed response on his tweet. Some criticized him for his thinking while others simply ridiculed it.
Pakistan’s renowned actress, model and singer Meesha Shafi accused fellow singer Ali Zafar of sexual harassment on micro-blogging website Twitter on Thursday, sparking a new debate in the country.
In her tweet on Thursday, Meesha Shafi said, “I have been subjected, on more than one occasion, to sexual harassment of physical nature at the hands of a colleague from my industryAli Zafar.”
Meesha said that she is sharing this because she believes that by speaking out about her own experience of sexual harassment, she will break the culture of silence that permeates through our society.
Ali Zafar, however, denied the accusations saying that he will take the matter to the court.
